The day appointed for the coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule is 18th April 2010.

The subject matter of each provision of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule is listed in column 2 of the Schedule.

Subject to paragraph (4), the provisions of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule come into force only for the purpose of making regulations or orders under the provision so specified.

Where a purpose is specified in column 3 of the Schedule in relation to any provision, that provision comes into force only for that purpose.
