The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section3(2)(a) of the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

 In accordance with section 18(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament. Citation and commencement 1 This Order may be cited as the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (Amendment of Specified Authorities) Order 2009 and comes into force on the day after the day on which it is made. Amendment of the list of specified authorities 2 In schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 (the specified authorities) under the heading “Public corporations” insert at the appropriate place “Scottish Futures Trust Ltd”.
