Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(3), 4(5), 5(4), 6(1), 7 and 62(2) of the Debt Arrangement and Attachment (Scotland) Act 20021 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Debt Arrangement Scheme (Scotland) Revocation Regulations 2009 and come into force on 25th June 2009.

Revocation of the Debt Arrangement Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 20092

The Debt Arrangement Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 20092 are revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

The Debt Arrangement Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2009 made changes to the operation of the Debt Arrangement Scheme by removing the role of money advisers and by setting a minimum amount to be paid monthly.

These Regulations revoke those Regulations before they come into force.
