ROADS AND BRIDGES
These Regulations revoke and replace the Road Works (Registers, Notices, Directions and Designations) (Scotland) Regulations 1992 in consequence of new provisions being added to Part 4 of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (“the Act”) by Part 2 of the Transport (Scotland) Act 2005.

In this Schedule “designation” means a designation of a road as a protected road within section 120, as a road having special engineering difficulties within section 122, or as a traffic sensitive road.
