Revocation of the Central Institutions (Recognition) (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 19902.
St Andrew’s House,
Edinburgh
These Regulations revoke the Central Institutions (Recognition) (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 1990 (“the 1990 Regulations”) as a consequence of the designation of The Scottish Agricultural College (the only remaining body recognised as a Central Institution under the 1990 Regulations) as an institution providing higher education for the purposes of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992 (c. 37). That designation is effected by the Designation of Institutions of Higher Education (The Scottish Agricultural College) (Scotland) (No. 2) Order 2008 (S.S.I. 2008/177).
