The Registrar General, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 122(3) and 258(2) and (3) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004(1), and with the approval of the Scottish Ministers in accordance with section 126(3) of that Act, makes the following Regulations:
2004 c. 33 (“the 2004 Act”). Sections 126(1) and 135 of the 2004 Act contain definitions of “prescribed” and “Registrar General” respectively relevant to the exercise of the statutory powers under which these Regulations are made.
