This Order is made in exercise of the powers conferred by section 22(3) and (4) of the Scottish Commission for Human Rights Act 20061 and all other powers enabling Her Majesty to do so.
Accordingly Her Majesty is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order as follows.
Citation1
This Order may be cited as the Scottish Commission for Human Rights Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2007.
Appointed Day2
8th November 2007 is the appointed day for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Scottish Commission for Human Rights Act 2006:–
a
section 1 so far as relating to paragraphs 1 to 15 of schedule 1;
b
section 7; and
c
paragraphs 1 to 15 of schedule 1.
