The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 2) (Scotland) Order 2007

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(2) of the Private Security Industry Act 20011, and having consulted the Secretary of State in accordance with section 26(2A)(b) of that Act2, make the following Order:

Citation and extent

1.

This Order may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 2) (Scotland) Order 2007.

2.

This Order extends to Scotland only.

Appointed day

3.

6th April 2007 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Private Security Industry Act 2001:–

(a)

sections 14, 16 and 18; and

(b)

section 15, so far as it is not already in force.

This Order brings into force for Scotland on 6th April 2007 those provisions of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 specified in article 3.
