The Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 34(2) of the Tenements (Scotland) Act 20041 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation1.

This Order may be cited as the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007.

Commencement of provisions2.

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 18 of the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 is 24th January 2007.

This Order appoints 24th January 2007 as the date for the coming into force of section 18 of the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004 (“the Act”).

The Act received Royal Assent on 22nd October 2004. Section 34 of the Act came into force on Royal Assent. Section 25 of and schedule 4 to the Act came into force on the day after Royal Assent. Sections 13(6), 31 and 32 of the Act came into force on 10th November 2004. Sections 1 to 12, 13, except subsection (6), 14 to 17, 19 to 24, 26 to 30 and 33 and schedules 1 to 3 to the Act came into force on 28th November 2004.
