This Order amends schedule 2 to the Public Appointments and Public Bodies etc. (Scotland) Act 2003 to– a replace the entry relating to Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd with Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd in the list of specified authorities (following a change of company name); and b add David MacBrayne Ltd to the list of specified authorities.

This Order follows the restructuring of Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd from 1st October 2006 and ensures that the appropriate bodies fall within the remit of the Commissioner for Public Appointments in Scotland.
