These Regulations amend the Food Hygiene (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (S.S.I. 2006/3) to reflect recent amendments to the Community instruments referred to in Schedule 1 of those Regulations. They revise the list of Community instruments that is contained in regulation 2(1) (interpretation) of those Regulations and substitute a revised Schedule 1 (definitions of Community legislation) for Schedule 1 to those Regulations (regulation 2(2) and (3)).

A Regulatory Impact Assessment of the effect that those amendments to the Community instruments will have on the costs of business has been prepared and placed in the Scottish Parliament Information Centre.
