Act of Sederunt (Rules of the Court of Session Amendment No.2 ) (Fees of Shorthand Writers) 2006
Citation and commencement1.
(1)
This Act of Sederunt may be cited as the Act of Sederunt (Rules of the Court of Session Amendment No. 2) (Fees of Shorthand Writers) 2006 and shall come into force on 1st May 2006.

This Act of Sederunt shall be inserted in the Books of Sederunt.
Increase in fees of shorthand writers2.

In Chapter IV (transcripts of evidence etc.)–
(i)
in paragraph 1 (attendance), for the amounts of £32.68 and £130.66 there shall be substituted the amounts of £33.81 and £135.17 respectively; and
(ii)
in paragraph 2 (notes of evidence: extension by shorthand writer or transcriber), for the amounts £5.35, £6.55 and £0.43 there shall be substituted the amounts of £5.53, £6.78 and £0.44 respectively.
Saving3.
Paragraph 2 of this Act of Sederunt shall not affect fees chargeable for work done, or outlays incurred before 1st May 2006.
Edinburgh
This Act of Sederunt increases the fees payable to shorthand writers in the Court of Session by 3.45%. The last increase was effected by the Act of Sederunt (Rules of the Court of Session Amendment No. 3) (Fees of Shorthand Writers) 2005 (S.S.I. 2005/148).
This Act of Sederunt does not apply to fees chargeable for work done before it comes into force.
