This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2006.

The day appointed for the coming into force of section 32 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003 is 2nd April 2006.

This Order brings section 32 of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003 into force on 2nd April 2006. This section amends the Prisoners and Criminal Proceedings (Scotland) Act 1993 (c. 9), in connection with the release etc. of prisoners serving consecutive or concurrent offence and non offence terms of imprisonment or detention.
The following provisions of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003 have been brought into force by commencement order made before the date of this Order:–
