The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(4) of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 19781 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
Citation, commencement and interpretation1

This Order may be cited as the National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2006 and shall come into force on 18th December 2006.

In this Order “the principal Order” means the National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Order 19742.
Amendment of article 3 of the principal Order2
In article 3 of the principal Order–
a
in sub-paragraph (c) after the words “Health Boards” insert “other than where the Health Protection Agency is exercising functions under the Health Protection Agency (Scottish Health Functions) Order 20063”; and
b
after sub-paragraph (o) there is added–

the power of the Scottish Ministers under section 40(1) of the National Health Services (Scotland) Act 1978 to make arrangements with medical practitioners for the vaccination or immunisation of persons against yellow fever, either by medical practitioners or by persons acting under their control.
