This Order may be cited as the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002 (Commencement No. 10) (Scotland) Order 2006.

This Order extends to Scotland only.

This Order, which extends to Scotland only, brings into force on 28th September 2006 all the provisions of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002 (“the Act”) which are not already in force. Section 2 of the Act (the prohibition of tobacco advertising) was not previously in force in relation to website advertising. The Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002 etc. (Amendment) Regulations 2006 also inserts new provisions into the Act.
The following provisions of the Act have been brought into force in Scotland by commencement orders made before the date of this Order.
