Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 2nd September 2006.

Amendment to The Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Scotland) Regulations 2000

2.—(1) The Animals and Animal Products (Import and Export) (Scotland) Regulations 2000(1) are amended in accordance with the following paragraph of this regulation.

(2) After the entry for Commission Decision 99/558/EC in paragraph 5 of Part II of Schedule 5 (Registered horses for racing etc.) insert–

• “Commission Decision 2006/542/EC (O.J. No. L214, 4.8.2006, p.59),”.
