Appointed day2.

1st July 2006 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the following provisions of the Standards in Scotland’s Schools etc. Act 2000:–

(a)

section 49 (Provision of information to Council), in so far as not already in force; and

(b)

section 50 (Professional Conduct Committee and Investigating and Disciplinary Sub-committees) for the purpose of the insertion, into the 1965 Act, of—

(i)

section 11(1)(ii) and (iii), (2) to (7) and, insofar as not already in force, (9); and

(ii)

section 11A(1) and (2).
