The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 195(3) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006(1), hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2006.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of sections 176 and 177 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 is 29th January 2006.

This Order brings into force on 29th January 2006 sections 176 and 177 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 (asp 1). Section 176 amends the Antisocial Behaviour etc. (Scotland) Act 2004 (asp 8), and section 177 amends the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (asp 10).
