10.—(1) When considering an application in respect of a controlled activity which falls within the provisions of the Groundwater Directive, SEPA shall impose such conditions as it considers necessary to ensure compliance with the Groundwater Directive(1).
(2) SEPA is the competent authority for the purposes of Articles 2, 8, 12 and 13 of the Groundwater Directive.
