This Order appoints 18th May 2005 as the date for the coming into force of certain provisions of the Education (Additional Support for Learning) (Scotland) Act 2004 (“the Act”). The Act received Royal Assent on 7th May 2004.

Article 2 appoints 18th May 2005 as the day for coming into force of the provisions of the Act specified in the Schedule to this Order. With the exception of section 27 (which is brought into force fully), these provisions are all brought into force for the limited purposes of making orders and regulations.
