The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 71(2) of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 20031, hereby make the following Order:
Citation1.
This Order may be cited as the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003 (Commencement) Order 2005.
Appointed day2.
The day appointed for the coming into force of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003, insofar as it is not already in force, is 1st April 2005.

This Order appoints 1st April 2005 as the date for coming into force of sections 1 to 70 and schedules 1 to 4 of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 2003.
Section 71 of that Act came into force on Royal Assent on 1st May 2003.
