In regulation 6–
a
for “An” substitute “(1) Subject to paragraph (2), an”;
b
after sub-paragraph (d) insert–

Where paragraph (1)(a) or (b) above applies, an election shall be treated as not having ceased to have effect if a contributor gives written notice to the Scottish Ministers for the purpose specified in regulation 5(1)(c).
