The Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004

Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52(1) and 60(1)(e) and (1A) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 19811 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement1.

These regulations may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004 and shall come in to force on 1st November 2004.

Amendment of the principal Regulations2.

(1)

The Public Service Vehicles (Registration of Local Services) (Scotland) Regulations 20012 are amended in accordance with this regulation.

(2)

In regulation 13(1)(a) and (2)(a), for “£10” substitute “£11”.

(3)

In regulation 13(1)(b) and (2)(b), for “£40” substitute “£45”.

These Regulations increase the fee for the registration of, or the variation of the registration of, a local bus service. The fee for a community bus service is increased from £10 to £11. The fee for a local bus service other than a community bus service is increased from £40 to £45.
