Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 80(2) of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 20011, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, after consulting such persons or groups of persons as they consider appropriate in accordance with section 80(4) of that Act, hereby make the following Order:
Citation and commencement1
This Order may be cited as the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Amendment Order 2004 and shall come into force on 30th September 2004.
Amendment of transitional provisions2
In articles 3(2) and 4(b) (transitional provisions) of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions) Order 20042–
a
for “1st October 2004” in each place where it appears, substitute “1st January 2005”; and
b
for “1st April 2005” in each place where it appears, substitute “1st January 2006”.
