The Tribunals and Inquiries (Dairy Produce Quota Tribunal) (Scotland) Order 2004

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(1) and (5)(a) of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 19921, hereby make the following Order:

Citation, commencement and extent1

This Order may be cited as the Tribunals and Inquiries (Dairy Produce Quota Tribunal) (Scotland) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004.

This Order extends to Scotland only.

Amendment of the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 19922

In Part II of Schedule 1 (Tribunals Under Supervision of Scottish Committee) to the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992, for paragraph 49 substitute–

The Dairy Produce Quota Tribunal for Scotland re-constituted under regulation 7(1)(b) of the Dairy Produce Quotas (General Provisions) Regulations 2002 (S.I.2002/458).

This Order brings the Dairy Produce Quota Tribunal for Scotland under the supervision of the Scottish Committee of the Council on Tribunals by amending the Tribunals and Inquiries Act 1992. The Dairy Produce Quotas Tribunals were re-constituted by the Dairy Produce Quotas (General Provisions) Regulations 2002, regulation 7 and the Schedule to those Regulations.
