The Victim Statements (Prescribed Courts) (Scotland) Order 2003

Coming into force in accordance with article 2
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 14(1) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 20031 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order, a draft of which has, in accordance with section 88(2) of that Act, been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament:
Citation1
This Order may be cited as the Victim Statements (Prescribed Courts) (Scotland) Order 2003.
Commencement2
This Order shall come into force on 25th November 2003 or, if this Order has not been made by 24th November 2003, on the day after the day on which it is made.
Prescribed courts3
For the purposes of section 14(1) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2003, the courts prescribed in this Order are the sheriff courts of Ayr, Edinburgh and Kilmarnock, and the High Court of Justiciary sitting at Edinburgh and Kilmarnock.
