Citation, commencement and extent1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Collagen and Gelatine (Intra Community Trade) (Scotland) Revocation Regulations 2003 and shall come into force at 11.00 hours on 30th September 2003.

These Regulations, which extend to Scotland only, revoke the Collagen and Gelatine (Intra-Community Trade) (Scotland) regulations 2003 (“the principal Regulations”) as amended.
The principal Regulations gave effect to Commission Decision 2003/42/EC (O.J. No. L 13, 18.1.03, p.24) as amended. That Decision is repealed by a new Commission Decision made on 29th September 2003.
The principal Regulations amend the Products of Animal Origin (Import and Export) Regulations by giving effect to Commission Decision 2003/42/EC as amended. These Regulations amend the 1996 Regulations by deleting reference to Commission Decision 2003/42/EC as amended.
No regulatory impact assessment has been prepared in relation to these Regulations.
