The Argyll and Clyde National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2003

Coming into force1st July 2003

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12A(1) and 105(6) of and paragraph 25(1) of Schedule 7A to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 19781 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, having received an application2 from each of the National Health Service trusts specified in Schedule 1 to this Order, and after completion of the consultation prescribed3 under paragraph 25(3) of the said Schedule 7A, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement1.

This Order may be cited as the Argyll and Clyde National Health Service Trusts (Dissolution) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st July 2003.

Dissolution of NHS Trusts2.

The National Health Service trusts specified in Schedule 1 to this Order are hereby dissolved.

Revocations3.

The Orders specified in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby revoked.

This Order provides by article 2 for the dissolution on 1st July 2003 of the three National Health Service trusts detailed in Schedule 1. As a consequence of those dissolutions this Order also revokes the Orders establishing those trusts and Orders amending those establishment Orders, which are all detailed in Schedule 2.
