The National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2003
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st April 2003.
Amendment of the National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Order 19742.
St Andrew’s House, Edinburgh
This Order amends the National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Order 1974 (“the principal Order”).
Article 2 of this Order deletes sub-paragraph (n) from article 3 of the principal Order. That sub-paragraph was inserted in the principal Order by the National Health Service (Functions of the Common Services Agency) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2000. It delegated to the Common Services Agency the function of the Scottish Ministers in relation to the provision of research and development services in the field of public health. The deletion of that sub-paragraph withdraws that function from the Agency.
