These Regulations make consequential amendments to the Sheep and Goats Identification (Scotland) Regulations 2000 (“the principal Regulations”) necessitated by the Disease Control (Interim Measures) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 2) Order 2002. That Order amends the 20 day standstill on the movement of animals which is contained in articles 3 to 5 of the Disease Control (Interim Measures) (Scotland) Order 2002, relative to breeding goats.
The Regulations make consequential amendments to regulations 6 and 13 of the principal Regulations which make provision for the identification of goats moved from and to holdings within Great Britain.
A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared for these Regulations.
