The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 20(1) and (2A) of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 19821 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Taxi Drivers' Licences (Carrying of Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 2nd December 2002.
Amendment of the Taxi Drivers' Licences (Carrying of Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs) (Scotland) Regulations 20022.
(1)
The Taxi Drivers' Licences (Carrying of Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs) (Scotland) Regulations 20022 shall be amended as follows.

In regulation 1 (Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation), omit paragraph (2).
(3)
In regulation 2 (Prescribed condition), for “1st” substitute “3rd”.

These Regulations amend the Taxi Drivers' Licences (Carrying of Guide Dogs and Hearing Dogs) (Scotland) Regulations 2002.
Regulation 2 corrects a technical inconsistency in relation to the application of regulations 1(2) and 2 of those Regulations.
