The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (Registered Social Landlords) Order 2002
Citation and commencement1.
This Order may be cited as the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 (Registered Social Landlords) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 30th September 2002.
Bodies to be treated as registered housing associations2.
(a)
Scottish Borders Housing Association Limited, having its registered office at 56a High Street, Selkirk, TD7 4DD;
(b)
West Lothian Housing Partnership Limited, having its registered office at 24 Kettilstoun Grove, Linlithgow, EH9 6PP;
(c)
Capital City Homes Limited, having its registered office at 19 Ainslie Place, Edinburgh, EH3 6AU;
(d)
Homes for Life Housing Partnership having its registered Office at Tolbooth Gate, 57 Market Street, Haddington, EH41 3JG;
(e)
The Moray Housing Partnership Limited having its registered office at Council Office, High Street, Elgin, IV30 1BX; and
(f)
Hillhead Housing Association 2000 having its registered office at 10 Newdyke Road, Hillhead, Kirkintilloch, G66 2PX.

This Order provides that the bodies mentioned in article 2 are to be treated as housing associations which were, immediately before the commencement of section 57(2) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, registered in the register of housing associations maintained under section 3 of the Housing Associations Act 1985 (c. 69). By virtue of section 57(2) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, such housing associations are registered as social landlords.
