Coming into force
The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 33(2)(a) and (3)(b) of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 19861 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement1
These Regulations may be cited as the Criminal Legal Aid (Scotland) (Fees) Amendment Regulations 2002 and shall come into force on 17th June 2002.
Application2
These Regulations shall apply only to outlays incurred on or after 17th June 2002.
Amendment of the principal Regulations3
In regulation 8(1)(b) of the Criminal Legal Aid (Scotland) (Fees) Regulations 19892 (outlays allowable to solicitors), after “exceed” there is inserted “such sums as are considered by the Board to be reasonable having regard to”.
