Amendment of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Declaratory (Controlled Area) (Scotland) (No. 2) Order 2001

2.  After paragraph (13) of article 4 to the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Declaratory (Controlled Area) (Scotland) (No. 2) Order 2001(1), there shall be inserted as follows:–

(14) No person shall move any carcase (other than the carcase of an animal slaughtered for human consumption or a suspect BSE or scrapie carcase destined for disposal) from premises other than a slaughterhouse or a knacker’s yard, except under the authority of a licence issued by the Scottish Ministers..
