Amendment of the 2000 Act
2.—(1) The 2000 Act is amended as follows.
(2) In section 4(1) (capital expenditure of local authorities etc.) for “£589,278,000” there is substituted “£626,571,000”.
(3) In schedule 1–
(a)in column 1, in entry number 8 (Scottish Executive Secretariat), at the end there is added “;expenditure in connection with external relations initiatives”; and
(b)the amounts specified in columns 2 and 4 are amended in accordance with Schedule 1 to this Order.
(4) In schedule 2–
(a)in Part 3 (Scottish Executive Education Department), at the end of the table there is inserted–
| “5. Pensions contributions | Expenditure on pensions” |
(b)in Part 5 (Scottish Executive Health Department), in column 1 of the table, in entry number 1, at the end there is added “; recovery of charges from patients, dispensing contractors and practitioners”;
(c)in Part 7 (Scottish Executive (Administration))–
(i)for entry number 2 in the table there is substituted–
| “2. Recoveries of salaries and other expenses of outward seconded and loaned staff; recoveries of salaries of staff assigned to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Agency (CICA) | Expenditure on outward seconded and loaned staff and staff assigned to CICA” |
and
(ii)for “£16,000,000” there is substituted “£20,000,000”; and
(d)in Part 9 (Registrar General of Births, Deaths and Marriages for Scotland), in column 1 of the table, in each of entries numbers 1, 3 and 4, at the end there is added “; receipts from minor occupiers”.
(5) In schedule 3, the amounts specified in columns 2 and 4 are amended in accordance with Schedule 2 to this Order.
