Amendment of the Foot-and-Mouth Disease Declaratory Orders

2.—(1) In Schedule 2 to each of the Orders specified in paragraph (2) below, there shall be inserted after paragraph 2(b), as follows:–

“(ba) no person shall transport animals through the infected area, except if the animals are transiting through that area by motorway, trunk road or railway;”.

(2) The Orders referred to in paragraph (1) above are–

(a) the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Scotland) Declaratory Order 2001(1); and

(b) the Foot-and-Mouth Disease (Scotland) Declaratory (No. 2) Order 2001(2).
