(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Community Care (Direct Payments) (Scotland) Regulations 1997 by inserting in regulation 2(2) (which excludes certain persons from entitlement to direct payments) references to–
(a)children entitled to services under section 22(1) of the Children (Scotland) Act 1995 who are aged less than 16 years, and
(b)persons, other than a parent or person having parental responsibility, entitled to such services in respect of a child.
