Citation, extent, commencement and cessation1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Scotland) (Recovery of Costs) Regulations 2001.

These Regulations extend to Scotland only.
(3)
These Regulations shall come into force at 3.00 p.m. on 30th October 2001, and shall remain in force until midnight on 31st December 2001.

These Regulations permit the Scottish Ministers to recover reasonable costs for supervision or inspections carried out for the purposes of dispatch of products under the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 2001, in implementation of Commission Decision 2001/740/EC (O.J. No. L 277, 20.10.01, p.30).
A Regulatory Impact Assessment has not been prepared for these Regulations.
