This Order may be cited as the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2001.
Commencement of provisions2.
The provisions of Part V of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986, insofar as they are not already in force, shall come into force on 2nd November 2001.

This Order provides for the coming into force of sections 26 to 28 of the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 (“the Act”). These sections relate to the employment of solicitors by the Scottish Legal Aid Board. All provisions of the Act have now been commenced.
The following provisions of the Act have been brought into force by commencement order made before the date of this Order:–
