(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order modifies the area within which the functions of Highlands and Islands Enterprise are exercisable by adding to the areas already specified in section 21(1) of the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 all parishes in the local government area of Moray not already falling within the area of operation of Highlands and Islands Enterprise. The effect of this order is, therefore, that the area of operation of Highlands and Islands Enterprise now includes the whole of the local government area of Moray.
