The <abbr title="Undersized Whiting Order 1992 (S.I. 1992/1212)">1992 Order</abbr> prescribed minimum sizes for the landing and sale in Great Britain, and for carriage on a British fishing boat, of whiting (<i>Merlangius merlangus</i>).</p></blockContainer><blockContainer ukl:Name="P"><p>Minimum sizes for the landing, sale, transportation, storage and carriage of whiting are now prescribed by Article 19 of Council Regulation <ref eId="c00001" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/european/regulation/1998/0850">(<abbr class="acronym" title="European Community">EC</abbr>) <abbr title="Number">No.</abbr> 850/98</ref> (O.J. <abbr title="Number">No.</abbr> L125, 27.04.98, p.1), laying down certain technical measures for the conservation of fishery resources, as read with Article 17 of that Regulation. These are implemented by the Sea Fishing (Enforcement of Community Conservation Measures) (Scotland) Order 2000 (<ref eId="c00002" href="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/ssi/2000/53">S.S.I. 2000/53</ref>).</p></blockContainer></blockContainer></conclusions></act></akomaNtoso>
