These Regulations amend the provisions of the Education (School and Placing Information) (Scotland) Regulations 1982.
Regulation 2 updates the information to be contained in the school handbook in regard to exam results. It takes account of the formation of the Scottish Qualification Authority and the implementation of Higher Still to provide more relevant comparison information to parents and children. Further for the school year 2000/2001 it allows for the school handbooks to be printed without the results of the 2000 exam diet.
