Interpretation 2 In this Order “the principal Order” means the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 2) (Scotland) Order 2000. Partial Revocation of the principal Order 3 The principal Order is revoked insofar as it designates any part of Areas A, B and C described in the Schedule to this Order being areas within Area 1 described in the Schedule to the principal Order. This Order is the fourth partial revocation of the Food Protection (Emergency Prohibitions) (Amnesic Shellfish Poisoning) (West Coast) (No. 2) (Scotland) Order 2000 (S.S.I. 2000/291) (“the principal Order”) which prohibited– a fishing for or taking scallops within the areas designated in the Schedule to that Order (article 4 of the principal Order); b movement of such scallops out of these areas (article 5 of the principal Order); and c landing, using in the preparation or processing for supply of food of, supplying and other specified activities in relation to, such scallops from the designated areas (article 6 of the principal Order).

The effect of this Order is to remove the prohibitions in respect of the areas of sea designated in the Schedule to this Order, which form part of the area of sea designated as Area 1 in the Schedule to the principal Order.
