Separate employment etc
44. For regulation 130(2)(b) substitute the following:–
“(b)as a returning officer (including employment in the duties of a returning officer, or local returning officer, at a European Parliamentary election which are required by regulations made under paragraph 2 of Schedule 1 to the European Assembly Elections Act 1978(1) to be discharged by a returning officer.”.
