Coming into force

The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27(2) of the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 20141 and all other powers enabling them to do so.

In accordance with section 79(2)(b) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before and approved by resolution of the Scottish Parliament.

Citation and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Scottish Tribunals (Listed Tribunals) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 1st December 2015.

Amendment of the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 20142

In schedule 1 to the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014—

in paragraph 5, at the end insert—

the homeowner housing panel

in paragraph 13(5), after “Act 2011” insert—

paragraph (c) relates to the functions exercisable by the private rented housing panel and the president of the panel by virtue of section 21(3) of the Housing (Scotland) Act 20062,

paragraph (d) relates to the functions exercisable by the homeowner housing panel and the president of the panel by virtue of section 16(1) of the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 20113

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations add the private rented housing panel and the homeowner housing panel to the tribunals listed in schedule 1 to the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014 whose functions may be transferred to the Scottish Tribunals under that Act. They also specify the functions exercisable by the two panels.
