The Scottish Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 2(3), 3, 4, 5, 6, 10(2), 11(4), 12, 13, 14 and 43(2) of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Act 20081 and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 44 of that Act, they have consulted the councils for the areas where these Regulations apply, the Organising Committee and other persons they considered appropriate.
In accordance with section 45 of that Act, they have had regard to the Host City Contract, any requests or guidance from the Commonwealth Games Federation and, where relevant, the impact of these Regulations on the effective operation of the Games.
In accordance with section 43(4) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the Scottish Parliament.
