Appointed day
2.—(1) The day appointed for the coming into operation of the following sections of the Adoption and Children Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 is 1st April 2024–
(a)section 116 (definition of family proceedings);
(b)section 118 (duration of residence orders);
(c)section 120 (ascertainment of children’s wishes);
(d)section 143 (report on the operation of the Children Order); and
(e)section 158 (review).
