Citation, commencement and interpretation1.

These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (2021 Consolidation) (Amendment No. 10) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021.

These Regulations come into operation at 4.00 a.m. on 28th November 2021.
(3)
An amendment made by these Regulations does not apply in relation to a person arriving in Northern Ireland before the coming into operation of the provision containing the amendment.

Amendment of the principal Regulations2.
The principal Regulations are amended as mentioned in regulations 3 and 4.
Amendment of Schedule 13.
In Schedule 1 (Red list countries) at the appropriate place in alphabetical order, insert “Angola”
and “Zambia”
.
Amendment of Schedule 84.
In Schedule 8 (Prohibition on arrival of aircraft and vessels), in paragraph 1 at the appropriate place in alphabetical order insert “Angola”
and “Zambia”
.

These Regulations amend the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2021 (“the principal Regulations”).
Regulation 3 makes amendments to Schedule 1 (Red list countries) to the principal Regulations by adding Angola and Zambia to the red list of countries.
Regulation 4 makes amendments to Schedule 8 (Prohibition on arrival of aircraft and vessels) to the principal Regulations to add Angola and Zambia to prevent aircraft from those countries arriving in Northern Ireland except in limited circumstances.
No impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations.
