The Department for Communities makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 91(6ZA) to (6ZC), 97F(5A) to (5C), 177(2) and (3) and 178(1) of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993(1) and now vested in it(2).

1993 c. 49; section 91(6ZA) to (6ZC) was inserted by paragraph 13(2) of Schedule 11 to the Pension Schemes Act 2021 (c. 1); section 97F was inserted by Article 34 of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Order (Northern Ireland) 1999 (S.I. 1999/3147 (N.I. 11)) and subsections (5A) to (5C) were inserted by paragraph 13(6) of Schedule 11 to the Pension Schemes Act 2021; section 178(1) was amended by Parts 3 and 4 of Schedule 5 to the Pensions (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 (S.I. 1995/3213 (N.I. 22))
