Citation, commencement and interpretationN.I.
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 24) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 and shall come into operation at 4.00 a.m. on 28th November 2020.
(2) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 M3.

Amendment of the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020N.I.
2.—(1) The principal Regulations are amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 5.
(2) In relation to any person who arrived in Northern Ireland on or after 10th July 2020 and before the coming into operation of any amendment made by regulation 5 the principal Regulations apply as if that amendment had not been made.
Amendments to regulation 3N.I.
3. In regulation 3 (requirement to provide information), omit paragraph (10).
Amendments to regulation 4N.I.
4. In regulation 4 (requirement to self-isolate)—
(a)omit paragraph (1A);
(b)in paragraph (3)—
(i)in sub-paragraph (a), for “,(c) or (d)” substitute “ or (c) ”;
(ii)omit sub-paragraph (d);
(c)in paragraph (6)(c), for “(d)” substitute “ (c) ”;
(d)in paragraph (7) omit the words “Where P is a person described in paragraph (1),”;
(e)omit paragraph (7A);
(f)in paragraph (12), for “Subject to paragraph (13), if” substitute “ If ”;
(g)omit paragraph (13).
Amendments to Schedule 3N.I.
5. In Schedule 3 (Exempt countries, territories and parts of countries or territories)—
(a)at the appropriate place in alphabetical order, insert “ Aruba ”, “Bhutan”, “Kiribati”, “Micronesia”, “Mongolia”, “Samoa”, “the Solomon Islands”, “Timor-Leste”, “Tonga”, and Vanuatu”; and
(b)omit “Estonia” and “Latvia”.

6. The following regulations are revoked—

Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 (“the principal Regulations”).
Regulations 3 and 4 of the principal Regulations are amended to remove the provisions inserted by the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 19) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020 and the Health Protection (Coronavirus, International Travel) (Amendment No. 20) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2020, both of these regulations are also revoked
Aruba, Bhutan, Kiribati, Micronesia, Mongolia, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Timor-Leste, Tonga, and Vanuatu are included within the list of countries and territories in Schedule 3 to the principal Regulations exempt from the requirement in regulation 4 of those Regulations to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival in Northern Ireland.
Estonia and Latvia are omitted from the list of countries and territories in Schedule 3 to the principal Regulations exempt from the requirement in regulation 4 of those Regulations to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival in Northern Ireland.
No impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations.
